Start by identifying the affected assembly
An air kit and a wet kit address different areas of a WILDEN pump. The air distribution system directs motive air, while the wetted assembly handles the process liquid. A symptom such as reduced flow does not by itself prove which assembly needs repair. Check the operating conditions and follow the relevant troubleshooting documentation before selecting parts.
What the kit names mean
WILDEN air kits include the air-valve spool and model-dependent service components; they should not be assumed to contain a complete air-valve assembly. Wet kits contain the applicable wet-side elastomers, such as diaphragms, balls, seats, gaskets or O-rings where required. The exact bill of materials controls what is supplied.
Build an identification record
Provide the full pump model, part number and nameplate photograph. Record the air distribution system and any previous modification. For wet-end parts, identify the installed diaphragm material and construction rather than relying on colour. If records and installed parts disagree, resolve the configuration before ordering.

Check the scope before approving the order
A repair kit may not include every worn rigid component, fastener or housing. Ask for the kit number and contents, then compare them with the inspection requirement. Treat a recommended spare kit, a retrofit kit and a complete replacement assembly as different purchasing items. Keep old and new part references linked in the maintenance record.
Store and use parts with traceability
Keep kits sealed and labelled until needed, and preserve supplier and lot information where provided. After repair, record the actual installed components and the reason for replacement. Assembly, isolation and testing must follow the exact pump manual; this purchasing guide is not a repair procedure.
