Separate the symptom from the diagnosis
Low delivered flow can result from a changed process, a restricted system, an air-supply problem or worn components. A pump cycling rapidly does not necessarily mean that useful liquid delivery is high. Record what changed and establish a measured symptom before replacing parts.
Collect observations safely
Use installed instruments and approved operating procedures to note liquid flow or transfer time, inlet level, running air pressure and discharge conditions. Record whether the issue begins at startup, after a tank empties, as a filter loads or after extended operation. Do not open a pressurized system or disturb hazardous fluids to gather these observations.
Compare the system with its previous condition
Check maintenance and process records for changed hoses, filters, formulations, temperatures or air demand elsewhere in the plant. A suction arrangement that worked with a warm thin liquid may behave differently with a cold viscous batch. A new downstream restriction can also move the operating point without any internal pump defect.
Use the correct troubleshooting document

Qualified personnel should follow its isolation and inspection procedures. Avoid generic advice to increase air pressure until the pump works; pressure ratings and the cause of the symptom must be understood.
Make the repair request actionable
Send the full model code, observed symptom, operating conditions, recent changes and photographs of the nameplate. If inspection identifies worn parts, request the corresponding kit or component by exact reference. After corrective work, repeat the same operating measurement so that improvement can be demonstrated and the maintenance record closed.
