PRODUCT EXPLANATION · WILLEE EDITORIAL
Define the maintenance problem first
Sticky coatings and adhesives can create a different service challenge from simple abrasive wear. Product may collect around internal features, cure during a shutdown or complicate cleaning. Describe where material accumulates and when the problem occurs before deciding that a new diaphragm design will solve it.

What integral piston construction changes
WILDEN Chem-Fuse diaphragms incorporate the piston within the diaphragm construction, removing the conventional exposed outer-piston interface. This can be relevant when product accumulation around that interface is a recurring concern. Availability and material choice still depend on the compatible pump configuration.
Evaluate the complete formulation
Supply the adhesive or coating chemistry, solids, viscosity and cleaning procedure. Include the temperature at transfer and the maximum shutdown period before cleaning. A design feature that reduces a buildup location does not establish chemical compatibility, prevent every deposit or make a curing material suitable for indefinite residence inside a pump.
Plan a useful comparison
Document the existing cleaning time, removed deposits, part condition and operating hours. After an approved change, compare equivalent batches under similar conditions. Separate the effect of a diaphragm design from changes in cleaning chemistry, operator practice or cycle rate. A simple log is more credible than a general claim of longer life without a baseline.
Confirm the parts path
Ask for the exact compatible diaphragm reference and any associated conversion or hardware requirements. Do not assume Chem-Fuse and hygienic Pure-Fuse designs are interchangeable. Update the equipment record and spare-kit list after an approved change, and retain the model-specific installation instructions with the maintenance job.
WILDEN pumps and parts support
For a configuration or spare-parts inquiry, send the complete model code and describe the actual duty. Willee can review the available product information and identify the details needed for a quotation.
